Incorrect styles
After trying to change the "styles" in HtmlEditor, the page where the editor is only shows "Red Title" as styles instead of the styles in the stylesheet I tried to connect.

Could you please provide me a link to the page that have the html editor on it.
In addition, please check in the HTMLEditor folder under the custom folder to ensure there is a style.xml file that is generated which should be created by the html editor.
I fully redid the page and it still does not work.
Here is the content of the old XML file (the one that did not work). (logingoed_tekstStyles2.xml)
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8" ?>
<Styles>
<Style name="basicfont" element="span" >
<Attribute name="class" value="basicfont" />
</Style>
<Style name="Header" element="span" >
<Attribute name="class" value="Header" />
</Style>
<Style name="Pageheader" element="span" >
<Attribute name="class" value="Pageheader" />
</Style>
</Styles>
This is the content (or non content, as the file is empty) of the new xml file (logingoed_undefinedStyles1.xml)
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8" ?>undefined
(it has no open or closing tags)
The link is logingoed.php
Renamed logingoed_tekstStyles2.xml to logingoed_undefinedStyles1.xml, cleared my IE cache and browserhistory and then it found the stylesheet. But then other problems occurred e.g. it would not hold the styles in the page.
Despite of all the nice features it is supposed to have, it takes too much efford to get it working.
So, never mind about finding a solution as far as I am concerned. It will just not work properly. I removed the HtmlEditor and started using the DMXzone editor again. It does not have that much features, but it will do what is it supposed to do.
Patience my webassist friend, i also struggle a lot with webassists's wysiwyg products because it use FCKEditor.. so you have to understand the nature of FCKEditor as well.
it took me almost one week to 'master' iRite.. the same problem happen on HTML Editor as well.. but when you master it, the 'preset' feature will save a lot of your development time in the future.
Regarding your problem, the cache problem arise in HTMLEditor/editor/fckeditor.html
you can erase (or i prefer commented) the line 29 :
<meta http-equiv="Cache-Control" content="public">
you can enable it on public/production server when your project goes life...
Hai Victor,
It's not just the cache problem that annoys me. It's all the errors I get when trying to make production. Also I think it does not cooperate with ADDT.
I may try installing it again as soon as I have a few weeks to spare. For now I will have to use another solution (eilas) to keep production going
Hi,
Are you still having this issue.
If you still do, i would like to open a support ticket so i can take a look at your files.
I do not know, since I removed the editor and reverted to my older one from dmxzone. I had to to keep up production time.
I will reinstall next week and try again. Will contact you then if you don't mind
I've just encountered the exact same problem. I am not using a stylesheet with my editor, but there is a "Red Title" style available in the list. How did it get here and how can I get rid of it? I'd like to create a couple of style to use, but this one that keeps popping up has absolutely no purpose for me.
