CSS Sculptor v3 does not install

When I install CSS Sculptor version 3 there is not asked for the activation number.
Instead of that the startup screen says version undifined
Then the (removed) version 2 starts up

I have tried all the tricks:
rename configuration directory
deleting WinFileCache.dat
--
uninstalling all the addins in combination with the above mentioned

I hope you can help

Just to verify, you have uninstalled version 2 before installing version 3? Are you installing on the Administrator account or just an account with administrative privileges?

Do you have multiple versions of Dreamweaver installed? Make sure you are renaming the configuration folder/deleting the winfilecache for the correct version of Dreamweaver. If you renamed the configuration folder for the version of Dreamweaver you're installing the extension on, the previous version should not load up.

I have Dreamweaver 8 and CS4 on one pc
I have the dutch version of VISTA
Both 8 and CS4 are englisch
One strange thing is that in C:\Users\John\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Dreamweaver CS4
I have two directory's
nl_NL
en_US

Is there a configuration folder in both those directories? If there are, try renaming both of them and installing the extension again.

Installation CSS Sculptor v3 succesful

I strange thing I that I saw wasthe following:
In Dw8 I had DataAssist 2.04 installed. Although I had installed DataAssist 2.06 in Dw CS4 it runs the 2.04 version. That is why I have un-installed the extensions in both Dw 8 and CS4
I have renamed the configuration folder in both nl_NL en en_EN
Between each installation I closed the extension cs4 manager, started Dw CS4 just to check and activate
I also removed each time the WinFileCache
Then I have installed all the extensions again
I have aborted the first CSS Sculptor v3 installation when it was running for more then 30 minutes.
Rebooted the PC en the second time the CSS Sculptor v3 installation was succesful.
Tomorow I am going to enjoy the new extension
Thanks for your advise and attention
