Stock control, as per PowerStore

hi there

I currently have a website running with eCart, connecting to SagePay.

Is it possible to update this site to use the stock control function of PowerStore ?.... ie is there any easy way to copy the stock control code ?... I'm planning on using PowerStore's back-end to content-manage the existing website.

thanks

You would need to pick through each of the power store checkout files and find the code that is specific to inventory control, then copy it over to your files.

We do not have any documentation for accomplishing this.

Easy? not really.

Easier than creating the stock control logic from scratch? you bet.

hi

hi Jason

Thanks for your reply

I suppose I could just copy the checkout files to my existing site and just rebrand them?...

that would be an easier solution provided my database fields and eCart values match up with PowerStore

Yes, you could do that.

you would also have to swap out the local checkout code to use sage pay.

There is a tutorial for that in the how to section of the eCart support page.

PDF does not work

hi Jason

In sync with my other rather disgruntled post - I have followed the PDF walkthrough in the document - ecart_protx_ht.pdf... as you suggested...

... and I'm now getting the same problem as other people - my checkout page goes directly to the Checkout Failure page

Please let me know if you need more information.... but is there a known fix for this ?
