conformation not finishing unable to finish testing

I have my checkout mostly working as I get my email receipt but after I click confirm, I get Unknown column 'US' in 'field list' or column 'IL'. How do I fix this and in the email receipt I have no order number how do I get that? If you want to look at the check out process its

The Unknown column 'US' in 'field list' or column 'IL' means that it can't find those fields in your database. Check to make sure they are listed exactly the way you are calling them in the table.

Not sure why I'm getting the "US" field error as the select list in the checkout has the United States but in the DB its listed as USA.... Could this be where the issue is?

Yes. It has to be an exact match.

Ok, so here is what I found, on the checkout page the states and countries are not listed from the database but statically on the page for the option list and this is where the "US" is coming from. In the DB US was listed as USA, even when I changed it it still did not work.

Would I be correct it deleting the static listings on the page and telling the drop down to list its data dynamically from the database?

Also how do you get the system to generate order numbers?

Thanks for your help guys once this works I will be ready to launch!

OK! I figured it out, the country was set to numeric in the orders lookup table, I set it to text and it works.

My only last thing is the successful checkout generated an order number but the email does not have the order number on it, its blank. How do I fix this?

Thanks,
Tim

the order number comes from the Store Order Summary server behavior. If the Universal Email server behavior comes before the store order summary server behavior, the order number will not be created yet.

double check the order of the server behaviors on the confirm.php page. You may need to move the universal Email code so that it is after the store order summary code.
