How to use time() as order id ?

How to use time() as order id ?

I have set my cart to use the value for time() to act as my order id in both the order_detail and order_summary tables

The final page of the checkout has the StoreSummaryInDatabase and StoreDetailsInDatabase server behaviours on it.

My issue is when the customer submits the order, the value of time() seems not to be identical for the Summary and Detail server behaviour. I assumed they would be simultaneous.

How can I ensure that the value is the same for each?

Many thanks

Put the value into a hidden form element or session variable on the confirm page, and use that to update both tables.
