Unable to get focus in editor in Safari

HTML Editor works great for me in IE, Firefox - but when I test in Safari I can't enter any text in the editor window. I can't seem to get the focus inside the text area - can't get the cursor inside it.

Not a problem for me, as it tests fine in IE and Mozilla - but would need it to work in Safari at some stage. Is this just local to my machines? Feedback from Safari users would be appreciated.

Basic unadorned example here: test_html_editor.php

I browsed to the url you have specified in Safari and i was able to type inside the editor.

I'm using the latest version of Safari 4 on MAC.

What version of Safari are you using and in which platform?

I had no issue either typing on Safari 4 on Mac.

The only real issue left seems to be the fact that objects aren't selectable once they are in the editor window - but this is an FCKeditor issue that has been there forever - which is why I use Firefox when working with editors.

Cheers,

Brian

Brilliant - thanks for checking this out for me, puts my mind at rest!

I'm testing all browsers on Vista and XP - so Safari was on Vista, not a Mac which would be the likely platform.

Cheers.
