CSS Menu Writer 2 and DW Templates

Does CSS Menu Writer 2 work within DW templates?

Does it then automatically detect the current page hightlighting when making pages from the template?

In the menu is there an easy way to centralize horizontal menus?

1) Yes, although the IE6 specific code is added to an editable region and the path would have to be updated since DW will not update code within conditional comments from a template.

2) Yes

3) What do you mean by centralize?

Width of entire top level menu

I think what he means is can you set the entire width of a top level menu to fit a template
ie you have a web template at 750pixels wide you want your top level menu to be 750pix wide by say 30pix deep and each individual menu item work out automatically what it needs to be to fit within the 750 pix.

"sitexpert menu maker" has this facility and i cant see it within css menu writer. Would be a neat addition.

Spot on that's exactly what I was asking.

I think you could achieve that effect by using % widths for the columns for some menus.

However some menus would not work well if they use image backgrounds that can't be stretched or shrunk.

So you can do something like this with menus that have bg colors and not images, but you would have to do it by setting the widths to % manually.
