CSS Menu Writer 1.0.4 won't uninstall

I have Site Assist Pro which may be involved.

I am trying to upgrade from version 1.0.4 to version 2.

I am trying to uninstall first because it is a "major" upgrade.

It keeps saying files are in use by DW even though I rebooted and went straight to the extension manager. The images are the files it is saying are in use.

I tried deleting the DW cache file, restarting the extension manager, and removing, but no change in the problem.

When I try to delete the file it says it cannot get rid of, it still says the file is still in use.

Check other versions of Dreamweaver. You need to disable it in all of them before you can remove it.

Did this help? Tips are appreciated...

It is already disabled in DW8 and has always been disabled in DW8.

Last time it said a file in the LayoutManager directory.

Can I install version 2 over 1.0.4?

It kept saying a different file was in use, so I kept canceling, then closing extension manager, then trying again. This last time it uninstalled.

Weird.
