Captcha Code isn't Validating

Hello!! I've implemented your Captcha on a page and am getting lots o' validation errors on your Captcha code.

To make sure it wasn't me I uploaded the sample_contact_styled.php (from the Contact solution kit) to my server and ran the Wc3 validation on it and it returned the same errors for the Captcha.

Could you guys please check on this? validator.w3.org/

Otherwise the Captcha seems pretty sound.

Thanks!

Carlene

Sorry - I need to redefine Validation

I mean that the markup does not validate with the W3C's validation. They are reporting problems with the code. Not that it doesn't validate on the form. (Too many uses of the word Validate.) If you try the sample page as it is posted on a server and go to the W3C site and try to validate the page you will see what I mean. They report issues.

Please alert the programmers because this is a solution that we purchased and it should be valid as far as the W3C is concerned. I'm trying to get my entire site up to W3C validation. It's quite a task when there are purchased scripts that come in invalid.

Thanks!

You cant upload a PHP page to the HTML Validator.

That is a limitation of the W3C's validation web service.

To validate a PHP page using the W3C's validation service, you must upload the php page to a remote host and validate the remote copy.

The W3C validation service cannot process PHP code. Only HTML code.

Hi Jason,

Yes - I of course realize that the source page must be on a server first. I've had many PHP pages validate with this site however.

Are you using the Validate By Upload option or the Validate by URI option on the W3C validator page?

a php page cannot be validated using the Validate By Upload option. It can only be validated using the Validate by URI.
