Page not posting Validation window on submit

When I submit the form with the validation code, I am able to continue to the next page without seeing any required validation message on our page at order_form.asp. This page and attempted validation is on a form that uses an add to cart button. Please advise.

You have some form elements that use invalid names.

When naming a form elements, the following naming rules apply:

1) You may only use alpha numeric characters, the only exception is the underscore "_".

2) The name cannot contain any spaces or other special characters.

3) The name cannot start with a number.

the form elements "zip code" and "email address" contain illegal spaces. The spaces are causing the client side validation to throw javascript errors.
