Multiple Configutation Floater error messages DW CS4

Greetings,

I reinstalled my WA_Cookie software and got the following error message:
The following JavaScript error occurred:
At line 25 of file "DW CS4 install location \configuration\Floaters\WA_Memento.js":document.remindersWP.document.track has no properties.

I clicked ok then got 5 more errors as follows:
1. Unable to find file WA_Memento.htm in the configuration/Floaters directory. The floater will not be shown.
2. Unable to find file WA_SiteTools.htm in the configuration/Floaters directory. The floater will not be shown.
3. Unable to find file WA_SiteTools_Progress.htm in the configuration/Floaters directory. The floater will not be shown.
4. Unable to find file WA_SiteImport_Progress.htm in the configuration/Floaters directory. The floater will not be shown.
5. Unable to find file WA_SiteImport.htm in the configuration/Floaters directory. The floater will not be shown.

After which the DW crashed. I uninstalled all the WA tools I had. I DW workspace loads after the 5 messages. I no longer get the JavaScript message.

What is going on?

John

I did as you suggested

Greetings, thank you for the reply.

I did as you suggested including deleting the cache file but I still was getting the same error messages, but DW did load. The extensions had already be uninstalled, so I reinstalled several, including the ones that were seemingly giving me the error messages.

Now when I run DW CS4, I still get 2 error messages related to site import (see original post).

Yes, now the floater displays as well.

Any other suggestions?

John

I have the same problem.. Deleted the File Cache file... Restarted DW.. No change.

Getting popup when starting DW " Unable to find file WA_Memento.htm in the configuration/Floaters directory. The floater will not be shown."

Using: DWCS4 Mac

What does it take to get rid of the popup?

In Dreamweaver, go to Window -> Workspace Layouts -> Reset '<layout name>'

Then close Dreamweaver and delete the Dreamweaver cache file again.
