CSS Menu Writer 2.0.4 Beta Available

A beta build for CSS Menu Writer 2.0.4 is now available. Log in and visit the Download Center; click on CSS Menu Writer 2, then the Beta Builds section of the page.

The main fix addressed in this build corrected the error that was thrown as soon as the CSS Menu Writer user interface was accessed in Dreamweaver 8. If you are using Dreamweaver 8 and have experienced this bug, please download the beta build.

This beta build also corrected an issue that prevented anchors in links from being included in menus.

------------------------------------

As quality assurance is not fully complete on beta builds, technical support cannot be provided. However, if you are using Dreamweaver 8 and still cannot access CSS Menu Writer for some reason with 2.0.3 or 2.0.4 beta, please post the error and we will 1) look into it and 2) provide you an older build if needed.

If you experience other issues with this beta build, please report the build number (045 in this case) and issue in this forum. We appreciate all the feedback we can get on beta builds. This will allow us to strengthen the next stable dot release. The last stable build will remain in the Download Center and you can always revert to it should you experience problems with the beta.

Unable to find the CSS Menu Writer 2.0.4 beta

Could you please provide the link - I have searched the download site and everywhere for it, all to no avail. The navigation is not very good and it is very hard to find it. There are no links that I see for BETA. The reason I received an email - but no actual link to it.

Thanks

In the Download center, click the link for CSS Menu Writer 2.

On the CSS Menu Writer 2 download page, look for the section titled "Beta Builds". Click the arrow next to Beta builds to get to the link to download the 2.0.4 beta build.

NOTE:
This Beta build addresses an issue that will only be encountered if you are using Dreamweaver 8. if you are not using Dreamweaver 8, you do not need this beta build.

There are 2 issues being addressed in the beta Build:
1) Corrected an issue in activation/serialization that caused an error to occur when accessing the CSS Menu Writer Wizard in Dreamweaver 8. Dreamweaver 8 users should now be able to activate CSS Menu Writer V2.

2) Corrected an issue that prevented anchors in links from being included in menus.

The first issue is specific to Dreamweaver 8.

the second issue can be encountered in all versions of Dreamweaver.
