Eric Meyer's CSS Sculptor 3 Won't launch

I upgraded today to Eric Meyer's CSS Sculptor 3 and it will not launch. I receive the error message:

While executing onLoad in wacs_quickinsert.htm, the following JavaScript error(s) occurred:
At line 145 of file C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Adobe Dreamweaver CS3\Configuration\Commands\wacs_quickinsert.js": ReferenceError: hasAutoSave is not defined

I am running DW CS3 in Windows Vista Ultimate 64-bit. I had Eric Meyer's CSS Sculptor 2.05 running fine and selected "overwrite" when I installed v3 this morning. No luck since then. I saw the other thread from someone who seemed to have a similar problem and tried clearing my DW cache, but it had no effect. I have removed v3 and reinstalled v2.05 so I can keep working for now. Help please

When you install a newer version of an extesnion, you must first remove the previous version from the extension manager. Installing over the previous version will corrupt the configuration folder.

To recreate the configuration folder, follow step 2 in the following guide:

Worked

That worked, thanks. I have never selected anything but overwrite for all my updates for many years and this is the first time I've ever had a problem. I will certainly uninstall from this point forward, but it seems like a very simple fix on WA's end to include a dialog box in the install package that detects a previous version, then pops and says, "the previous version must first be uninstalled. Click OK to exit".

Appreciate the help...thanks.

I think the fault is with Adobe's Extension Manager. It's sort-of a mess.

Office guy is correct. We are at the Mercy of the options included with the Extension Manager.

I agree, it would be great if we could include a dialogue box that would not allow you to proceed is a previous version was detected. Sadly, the Extension Manger does not have this option.
