ups shipping calculation does not work, need help

Hi, I have a problem with my ups shipping and I can't find the solution. UPS SHipping doesn't show shipping costs.

In sp_ps_globals_2.pdf it is said...


$WAGLOBAL_UPS_Account = "";
•
Enter your UPS Account details.
$WAGLOBAL_UPS_Password = "";
•
Enter your UPS account password.
$WAGLOBAL_UPS_AccessKey = "";
•
Enter the UPS Access Key provided to you by UPS.
$WAGLOBAL_UPS_ShipperNo = "";
•
Enter the Shipper Number provided to you by UPS.

1- Seems that "UPS_ShipperNo" and "UPS_Account" is the same thing
2- For "UPS_Password" i take my password to log on their web site
3- "UPS_AccessKey" is the xml access key i've got from them.

What can I do wrong here? Is there something else to do?

Help would be apreciate a lot.

Based on what you have posted here you are setting the values correctly. What happens when you have the values setup like you have specified? If there is a problem with the shipping quote you should get some error on the shipping failure page. Please post back with some more info about the error you are getting.

If we pay by paypal, does shipping with ups is calculated if it's correctly configured?

If you use the PayPal Express checkout with PowerStore then the UPS quote is still calculated. This is done on the pp_confirm page.

Ok, then it's something else. I don't get any error messages... We just don't see the shipping quote.

I contacted UPS by phone (1 hour on phone easy) too to see if it come from there system... Gonna have a answer by email they said.

I have to say: I followed all your instructions manual in pdf to the letter. All is working except UPS calulation.

I can't see what it is, what I could done wrong.

O God help us! ( like any good president of the US would say ) ;)

It sounds like the shipping charge is just not being triggered. If there were a problem during the quote request you should be redirected to the shipping failure page. It is almost as if you have the following value set in the globals file:

$WAGLOBAL_Shipping_Enabled = false;

This needs to be true for shipping to work, but I'm sure you are already doing that based on what you have stated here.

On your confirm pages you can get the full request and full response from the shipping quote request by putting this php code in the places on the page where you would like to see this info:

full request

<?php echo $_SESSION["WA_Store_Cart_UPS_FullRequest"]; ?>



full response

php:
<?php echo $_SESSION["WA_Store_Cart_UPS_FullResponse"]; ?>

You've got it!

Ok. Thanks! You found it. $WAGLOBAL_Shipping_Enabled = false; It was that but anyway I need your help. During all the test, I test it with false and true and anyway doesn't work... But we have a beautifull error message as follow;
Transaction Not Completed
We're sorry

Your transaction could not be completed. Either your credit card information or billing address has problems and cannot be processed

Please return to checkout and try again.

And in the adress bar;
/checkout_failure.php?shipping=fail

I'M not very proud of the "false" thing but your help files can be confusing at this point. In the WA_Globals.php file it seem very clear to me that it need to be true but when I see a line who say in sp_ps_globals_2.pdf "&#8226;
If you intend to include shipping fees that are calculated through the USPS API, change &#8216;false&#8217; to &#8216;true&#8217;."

This part was a bit confusing... It could be... If you intend to include shipping fees that are calculated through "one of the 3 API shipping carrier", change &#8216;false&#8217; to &#8216;true&#8217;." Would be very clear to me.

Now we found the error. Now we need to find a solution to repair.

Could you help me?

New problemes...

Ok, we didnt find the solution for shipping with UPS!!

But we put online the website, now we need to add new products, or delete orders we did with paypal sandbox. Dosent work!!

- we cannot add new description in:

Cart Description
This content will display on the customer's Cart page after adding this product.

Short Description
This content will display on the Product Results page for this product.

Long Description
This content will display on the Product Results page for this product.

Thoses cases are white and blank!! We cannot write anythings inside!!

When you are logged into your Admin area of the PowerStore you should be able to update all of the items values. Are you able to do so on your local machine? Do you get any errors on your live pages? Please post back with some screen shots of what you are experiencing so that we have a better idea of what is happening.
