Solving problems with Dreamweaver

If deleting the cache file doesn't help:

Make sure you uninstall the extension before you install a new version. I would delete the cache file after installing the latest version. Backing up the config folder doesn't fix problems unless you also remove it so DW can rebuild it. This will mean you have to reinstall all of your extensions.

What I meant to say is.

I have done all those things, essentially starting from scratch. iRite is the only extension I have currently installed.

I followed the ipvac instructions very closely. When I said backed up the config dir I should have said re-named it, making Dreamweaver re-create it. Just in case I gor one of the steps in the ipvac ibnstructions wrong, I am doing the whole thing again including re-activating iRite.

The end result is exactly the same.

The user resolved this issue by reinstalling Dreamweaver and the extension.
