Quick cart does not clear content on success page

Hi,

I have a Quick Cart, only the number of items and the total, on every page.

When I confirm the order, the numbers of the Quick Cart don't clear on the success page. Only when I open another page the numbers clear.

Is there something I can add to the success page to clear the content of the Quick Cart?

The cart itself is cleared with this code after the closing html tag:
<?php
mysql_free_result($rsorders);

// Initialize the session.
// If you are using session_name("something"), don't forget it now!
session_start();

// Unset all of the session variables.
$_SESSION = array();

// If it's desired to kill the session, also delete the session cookie.
// Note: This will destroy the session, and not just the session data!
if (isset($_COOKIE[session_name()])) {
@setcookie(session_name(), '', time()-42000, '/');
}

// Finally, destroy the session.
session_destroy();
?>

On the success page, you want to be able to show the cart items that where purchased along with the thank you message.

The quick cart is on the page before the code to clear the cart.

A quick cart is not necessary on the success page. It should not be included in that page.

I understand.

The quick cart is part of the template, and so it is on every page. I will let my boss decide whether he can live with the quick cart not being emptied on the success page, or whether he wants the quick cart removed entirely.

Thank you Jason.

I found a solution. I made the div that is holding the quick cart invisible, only on the success page.

<style type="text/css">
<!--
.quickcart {
visibility: hidden;
}
-->
</style>
