Any one knows how I can set the upload extension to just pdf and nothing else, and also, how to set an error message. because, even though I am limiting the upload files to web only, and when I try a doc document, the upload runs, and you can see the progress bar like if it is uploading but of course, the file doesn't upload at the end, so instead of all these on screen lies, I would like the user to actually see an error message instead.

You would need to use validation toolkit to validate the file extension.

Use server side validation and chose file extesnion validation.

for the server variable, click the lightning bolt, in the form collection, chose the FileField Simple File Name.
