How do I control the state of a checkbox?

How do I control the state of a checkbox?

Where/how do I control the state of a checkbox in a form? I may have several checkboxes in different places and would like to control whether it's checked or not checked as the default. I'm hoping it doesn't require a custom code entry so that it doesn't get overwritten if I decide to edit the form.

In design view, select the checkbox, in the property inspector, you can chose the initial state, checked or unchecked.

Control initial state of Form Checkbox ?

I have the same Question. In my Property Inspector the Initial state options are greyed out and not available. Only the Dynamic button is available.

This will happen if the value for the checkbox is set from a dynamic data source. Click the dynamic button to access controls for setting the checkbox initial state based on dynamic data.

Dynamic Checkbox

Thanks Jason.
I have removed the form created with CSS FB and quickly rebuilt it using other methods. Will keep this solution you provided in mind and try CSS FB again at a later date
