canceled subscription

Ok I have canceled my subscription, it is just not for me, no problem, but I was suprised that it does not stay active till my month is up, I only cancel tonight so I would not forget to do before another month starts. I paid for the first month with my activation fee, if someone can shead some light on this, if not no problem, thx

That is just the way the system works. You cancel and it deactivates.

Since we use a web page to control the functionality and you aren't coming at the end of the month but right now to cancel, it updates the database with DataAssist at that time and marks it as cancelled.

Very Naughty

Hey Ray

Here in the European Union they frown on such behaviour and you'll likely end up in court if you carry on not supplying what a european resident has paid for. I'm sure the US must have similar legislation.

It will be more expensive to defend yourselves than it would be to just put a system in place to manage deactivations from a set date.

regards

Jon

I appreciate the feedback. For now if you accidentally unsubscribe early, just let us know and we will reactivate you and you can unsubscribe on whatever date you would like.
