USPS error, templates, etc.. Help, I'm going bald!

I would love some clarification on a few things...

1. Every time I try to use the ecart wizard, I get alert messages stating that I am trying to change a part of the document that is marked as uneditable, and that the page will revert to it's original state the next time the template is applied. The only way I was able to get around this was to detatch the documents from the template. Will that mess them up later?

2. Now that I have finally enabled the extension_curl.dll in php, I am finally able to get to the shipping_failure.php page. Unfortunately, I get this error......"Notice: Undefined index: BlueSkyCart_USPS_ErrorDescription in C:\webserver\apache2\htdocs\ddc\shipping_failure.php on line 87" Any idea what's causing it?

3. When completing the checkout wizard and it asks for package weight (in lbs) should I enter 1, for one pound. or should I enter 1.00?

4. Should I be expecting any problems using USPS quotes with PayPal standard?

Thanks in advance for any help/advice in these matters. I've been at this for a few months now and my family misses their dad.

The template issue is one that happens from time to time. Attaching the template after the fact should not cause any problems, you will just need to match up the regions of the page with the editable regions of the template.

The error you are getting on this page is just letting you know that the variable being referenced has not been defined and does not have a value. When you are testing this have you ensured that you have all of the files uploaded? You may want to check this page to see if there is a missing include for the USPS files, you should have them on the page that returns the quote.

Entering a whole number or decimal value should be fine, do you have problems with one of these?

With PayPal standard the shipping quote should be fine to pass as the shipping and handling value.
