Error sending form

I've created a basic page with UE using cdosys, all looks good until i submit the form when i get an error
error '8004020e'

/WA_Universal_Email/CDOSYS_VB.asp, line 149

I've read and listened to all tutorials but still at a loss.
cdosys.dll is installed on my windows 2003 server and tested using a manually cinfigured page.

any ideas appreciated as this is my first time using it.

This error usually means the FROM field is not a valid email address.

I'm getting this same message and I tried putting in a valid default email address and it still failed.

Any other ideas?

I'm running UEmail 2.8

It could be a message relay error.

Message relay errors often appear to be errors in the from address.

You may need had to set up the SMTP server to allow anonymous connections.
