mail server

This is a question regarding the mail server setting in the WA_Globals.php (line 11). We are hosting our email in-house, not with the web host. The emails are not getting delivered, especially not the email verification one. Which mail server should I specify: a third-party one such as gmail, or work with the web host to allow these emails to passed along to our separate email server?

have you tried leaving that setting empty, in most cases leaving that setting blank should work.

if that still does not work, you might not have a mail server installed on your server, you will need to check that you have a mail server running first.

You can test this by creating a blank php page and past this script in it:

<?php
$to = "someone@example.com";
$subject = "Test mail";
$message = "Hello! This is a simple email message.";
$from = "someonelse@example.com";
$headers = "From: $from";
mail($to,$subject,$message,$headers);
echo "Mail Sent.";
?>
