Add checkbox to Registration Form with validation

Add checkbox to Registration Form with validation

I'm attempting to add a new checkbox to the users_registration.php page and I'm wanting to add validation to this to where they must check the box. But for some reason I'm unable to get the validation to work correctly. I would think it would be easy....what steps should I take?

A very simple way to do this would be to first add in the checkbox then make sure to give it a value. Next you would apply server validations to the page or add to them if they are already on the page.

If you have a value for the checkbox then applying the required not blank validation should work for you to ensure that it is checked.
