Problem with activation

I have this error.

This could have been caused if you installed a new Sculptor version then went back and installed an older version.

I would recommend deleting your configuration folder at this point to clear the error:

Webassist Clean tool

I am getting the last thing happen to me also, I dont have the time to reinstall all things again and to reload and lookup all the site settings, how about the creation of a Webassist clean tool, to clean out fully your software so that we can do a fresh install of the webassist programs. This would make sense to fix the problem. So far, its only my webassist products that are having this problem, I can not register and launch any of them. A real disappointment.

The tool would be similar to nortons clean installer.

I agree, and I think that is something that is under consideration and it is being looked in to.

But meanwhile, i recommend renaming your configuration folder and ensure that you have the latest builds for all extension.

Heres a fix that worked for me

I had the same problem, and here how you can fix it.

Go to your hidden app directory and find webassit. You will find a directory just like you have listed in your dialouge box in your message. Copy all files out of your shared webassist folder and put a copy of all of them in the C: program folders. Look at your dialouge box and that is the path that you will need to copy all too.

Delete the .dat file in the configuration folder.

Relaunch dreamweaver and you will now be able to register all the software, it took me 2 days to figure this out. All mine are now working. And I had the same thing.

I would not delete your configuration folder, it did not help.
