Problem with redirect

Thread began 9/29/2009 1:35 pm by dcb286193 | Last modified 9/29/2009 6:10 pm by dcb286193 | 1295 views | 2 replies |

Problem with redirect

I am having a problem with the redirect after updating a record. The site was working fine until APLUS net moved their server. Now I am receiving this error on redirect:

Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /services5/webpages/util/d/b/ in /services5/webpages/util/d/b/ on line 117

All that is on line 117 is: header("Location: ".$WA_redirectURL)

The redirect URL is set to a page name nothing fancy. I have tried by opening the update record selecting several different pages and it keeps coming back with the same error.

Any ideas

According to this section of the error message:
output started at /services5/webpages/util/d/b/

the error is occurring at line 8 or 9.

This type of error usefully happens if the is a blank space or line between php code blocks. Check line 8 for a blank space after the closing PHP tag:
"?> "

or a blank line after closing the PHP tag and starting a new one:

If you cant see the problem, compress the page in a zip file and send a copy of it in your reply.

Problem with redirect

That is the issue. Blank spaces after the closing PHP tag.

I am surprised that it work prior to the move and only showed up now.

Thanks for the help.
