Wizard - Public layout

hi

Just a quick 'ask' - in DataAssist 2 I have the option of a Public or Admin Results page... but the public results page doesn't have an Insert button to insert a new record.

I quite like this layout so at the moment have to manually place one in somewhere.

Thanks

The public payout is intended as a layout to display the results to the public. you dont want the public to be able to insert records to the database, only view the results. This is why it does not include the Insert, update or delete buttons, those are functions that should only be available top the administrator.

You will need to manually add the insert update or delete buttons if you wish to use the Public Layout for administration pages.

Hmmm, yeah, I see. The update and delete buttons should not be included in that layout. It should be a layout that only includes functionality for the general public. It should not contain any of the admin controls.

If you want the Insert button, you will need to add it manually.
