required field validation error

Hello, need to get this fixed! :)

From a previous thread that addressed my problem this

showthread.php?t=3172

this what I've done.

I copied WAFV_Required_C.js to

C:\Program Files\Common\Adobe\Installers\[Adobe Number]\Adobe Dreamweaver CS4\Configuration\Commands\

which did not fix the probelm. I do not have a directory called

C:\Program Files\Common\Adobe\Installers\[Adobe Number]\Adobe Dreamweaver CS4\Configuration\Behaviors\Actions\WA Validation Toolkit\Apply Client Validations

on my PC. I'm using XP pro.

Problem still exists.

Thanks for your help!

See this post:
showpost.php?p=14450&postcount=9

it has the correct path.

Also see the Known Issues tab in the Download Center for form builder, there is a known issues pack there that contains the correct path.

no luck

Hello. The path you showed me at show...50&postcount=9 is for a Mac. I'm on a PC. I tried to look for the mention of this problem in known issues but had no luck.

I put the WAFV_Required_c.j file in these 2 directories and restarted Dreamweaver.

C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Dreamweaver CS4\configuration\Behaviors\Actions\WA Validation Toolkit\Apply Client Validators

-and-

C:\Documents and Settings\HP_Administrator\Application Data\Adobe\Dreamweaver CS4\en_US\Configuration\Commands

I should note that the WA Validation Toolkit\Apply Client Validators directories did not exist so I had to create them.

Any help would be appreciated.

The known issues document in the download center contains the correct locations.

it should go in:
C:\Documents and Settings\<Your User Name>\Application Data\Adobe\Dreamweaver CS4\en_US\Behaviors\Actions\WA Validation Toolkit\Apply Client Validations\WAFV_Required_C.js

and:
C:\Documents and Settings\<Your User Name>\Application Data\Adobe\Dreamweaver CS4\en_US\Configuration\Commands\WAFV_Required_C.js

still not working :(

Thanks for the info, I never did find that document.

Sadly I put the .js file in both locations you mentioned and restarted DW and the required validation gives m the same error. Maybe a reboot is in order?

I sure hope to get this fixed soon.

Thanks for your help so far.

I guess I should mention I have not purchased the validation tool kit as I thought it was included with the form builder in the Super Suite. Is this correct?
