Very sad news

I've just come across the following post on the Wappler forum - Ray has very sadly lost his battle with cancer.

https://community.wappler.io/t/pray-for-our-friend-ray-borduin/52779

I know all of us on these forums owe Ray a huge debt of gratitude for the help and support he's given us over the years. My thoughts are with his family and friends and I hope that WebAssist can continue in some way as it's been an absolute godsend to those of us who don't have the same technical knowledge that Ray possessed and was always happy to share. RIP Ray, you will be much missed.

Me too Patrice. I've already made a couple of donations but will be making another one in the hope that it'll help Trishia and the family.

Ray mentioned a while back that he had a couple of ex-WebAssist employees who may be able to help out - do you know if anything came of that or if there are any other plans to carry on the company and/or support forums? You and I and a couple of others have already offered to help where we can but it would be good to know if there may be a longer term solution as well.

This is such terribly sad news and incredibly heartbreaking for Ray's children, Trish and their friends and family. It sounds like he was surrounded by those he loved and who loved him, so that's at least some comfort.

I hope everyone here donates something to their GoFundMe as the medical bills will be flowing for some time.

Thanks for everything, Ray. Rest in peace.

Shocked and saddened to hear this awful news. I can honestly say that Ray was an absolute diamond with the help he provided me with my own personal development in web-dev. I will forever be grateful to Ray for the level of support he provided me for so many projects. Rest In Peace to an absolute star. Shine bright Ray! x
