UPDATED: 1/12/24: I am only a temp help on the Forum but let's help one another now

I am but a user on this forum, but Ray has granted me forum access in order to get rid of spam.
Ray has medical issues right now, so absolute answers from Ray will not be as fast as in the past.

I am asking all users to share their solutions according to their particular expertise.

Instead of using private for specifics, put in in your question, but not do provide private log in specs etc. There are many peeps on this list who can answer these type of questions.

Let's open up our discussions to share more between us while Ray is undergoing medical issues.

Thanks for this Patrice, I'll be happy to help where I can - I don't profess to be anywhere near Ray's level of experience but I think all of us who have had the benefit of Ray's experience and assistance in the past should come together now and offer whatever support we can. -Margaret

Thank you.
Many of us have had specific interactions with Ray off list. I know that his work for my clients adjusting cart specs were very custom. No way could all of that be shared in our forum.

But now, we need to help each other to find solutions as we know them. The basics, ie, delete the .dat file, change the config file ... or these notes of mine: look for white space pre

I have many more "notes to myself" using WA and I am willing to share as I can.

So I am calling on all users to start making a list of those items that worked for you. If we can help one another, this software will survive.

Whilst I would consider myself a 'hack', what knowledge I do have I am of course willing to share here. Webassists and Ray specifically has beena huge part of my life and the business for 12+ years

Thanks for stepping up to help Patrice, whilst Ray is unwell. Even though I am no expert, I will also help out wherever I can. Ray has been a beacon of light to me over the last 15+ years. I'm sending love and prayers from the UK to him and his family

Updated 1/12/24

With the passing of Ray, I've extended the concept of helping one another.
It has WA blessing. The idea is to build out a database of those among us who have specific areas of expertise.

I invite all to visit this site and register as a resource according to those areas of expertise with which you are most comfortable. WIP, so it can be adjusted as we all use it.
