Product Menu Powerstore 2

Hi All

Having a problem with top nav Product Menu (powerstore 2) when clicking on a category. The search is not functioning and all results are being displayed regardless of which category is selected.

the result should be: Products_Results.php?Search=true&CategoryID=1
or Products_Results.php?Search=true&CategoryID=2
depending on which category is selected.

However all selections are displaying the result: Products_Results.php

The left hand menu is working correctly and searches the CategoryID when a category link is selected.

I have obviously deleted or changed something, but where and what file have I messed up please?

The link that adds in the items category should be controlled by CSSMenuWriter > cssmw_home > menu.php.

In this page in on line 69 should be this:

php:
<li><a href="<?php echo($assumedRoot); ?>Products_Results.php?Search=true&CategoryID=<?php echo $row_menuwriter_productcategories["CategoryID"]; ?>"><?php echo $row_menuwriter_productcategories["CategoryName"]; ?></a></li>

Notice that after Products_Results.php there is the Search attribute set to true and the CategoryID set to the products CategoryID. This is similar code to the category listing on the left side but that is controlled in a different file.

Powerstore Menu

Thanks Eric, also found some other search attributes missing ... works find now.

Another question that has troubled me .... how do I change the colour and other design features of the left menu? I presume it is controlled by a css file somewhere but once again I am asking which file and where?

The styling for this side menu is controlled with the css > content.css file in the PowerStore. In here you will see the various stying for the list and you can make adjustments to customize the look.
