accesscheck session

Hi Ray

The usual login behaviour makes use of the session 'accesscheck' to redirect people to the previous page in the admin area after successful login.

I haven't been able to use this, as I require a separate page (loginstats) which creates lots of other session variables before access to the admin area.

I've tried creating the session on the login page based on the accesscheck parameter in the URL , then adding a redirect to loginstats. However, the Session variable isn't being created on the login page.

Code:
<?php
@session_start();
if(!isset($_SESSION["accesscheck"])) {
$_SESSION["accesscheck"] = "".$_GET['accesscheck'] ."";
}
?>

Cheers

Chris

HI Ray

I've got it working on the login page, using 'befire page loads':
<?php
@session_start();
if("" === "") {
$_SESSION["accesscheck"] = "".$_GET['accesscheck'] ."";
}
?>

The next page has an insert behaviour on it. Id like it to be
'if session accesscheck exists, go to /$_session['accesscheck'], but if not go to /xyyz.php

I've tried various bits of code, but don't really know how!

$InsertGoTo = "homepage.php";

Cheers

I'm trying the following code, within the update behaviour - but there is an error (I'm not a coder!) and i'm not sure where:

$InsertQuery->execute();
if(isset(". $_SESSION['accesscheck'] .")) $InsertGoTo= "https://website.co.uk/". $_SESSION['accesscheck']."";
if(!isset(". $_SESSION['accesscheck'] .")) $InsertGoTo = "members/what.php";
if (function_exists("rel2abs")) $InsertGoTo = $InsertGoTo?rel2abs($InsertGoTo,dirname(__FILE__)):"";
$InsertQuery->redirect($InsertGoTo);

Cheers
Chris
