Send Attachments?

Send Attachments?

Hello,

I am assuming that it is still not possible to send attachments with PowerMessenger (I see no sign of that as an option)?

If not then I doubt I am the first who has asked ... so do you perhaps have a script stashed away somewhere in your archive that uses your standard "SendMail" (ex-Universal Mail) to query the PowerMessenger database, find the appropriate audience, and then send emails plus desired attachment to the specified subscribers?

(Just hoping!!).

Thanks

I could probably help you implement this if you need it. I don't have a script for it. Give me a call later this week and I can work through this with you.

Thank you for your kindness. There are workarounds and I will use those.

Either (a) placing links in the outgoing PM message for recipients to click on so they access the documents on my site; or (b) run a query against the database and copy the resulting addresse to the BCC field of an ordinary mailing plus attachment.

Thanks

Yes. Including a link in the body is a perfectly good work around for not being able to add attachments.
