How can I update a select menu using multiple update ?

Hi there, I'm trying to do a multiple update with a select menu EXAMPLE

<select name="select" id="select">
<?php
while(!$Lang_RS->atEnd()) { //dyn select
?>
<option value="<?php echo($Lang_RS->getColumnVal("lang_id")); ?>"<?php if (!(strcmp($Lang_RS->getColumnVal("lang_id"), ($DefaultLang_RS->getColumnVal("name"))))) {echo "selected=\"selected\"";} ?>><?php echo($Lang_RS->getColumnVal("name")); ?></option>
<?php
$Lang_RS->moveNext();
} //dyn select
$Lang_RS->moveFirst();
?>
</select

but multiple update records look up for repeated form

like this

<?php
$wa_startindex = 0;
while(!$Lang_RS->atEnd()) {
$wa_startindex = $Lang_RS->Index;
?>

<?php
$Lang_RS->moveNext();
}
$Lang_RS->moveFirst(); //return RS to first record
unset($wa_startindex);
unset($wa_repeatcount);
?>
And select menu does not work with this selection.
So what is the way to do this ?

I can do an example page and attach it but with no results because Multiple updates records doesn't recognize the loop on select menu like THIS (

<select name="select" id="select">
<?php
while(!$Lang_RS->atEnd()) { //dyn select
?>
<option value="<?php echo($Lang_RS->getColumnVal("lang_id")); ?>"<?php if (!(strcmp($Lang_RS->getColumnVal("lang_id"), ($DefaultLang_RS->getColumnVal("name"))))) {echo "selected=\"selected\"";} ?>><?php echo($Lang_RS->getColumnVal("name")); ?></option>
<?php
$Lang_RS->moveNext();
} //dyn select
$Lang_RS->moveFirst();
?>
</select

)

Because there no respected form on this loop for multiple update records assist.

I'm afraid I still don't understand the issue. Are you saying your select list doesn't have any elements to pick from? I may need to do screen sharing with you to determine where you are getting stuck. I'm really not even sure what I'm looking for.

He is an example that show the issue. Even when the <option></option> element has a loop multiple update records do not recognize repeated region.

Multiple update is usually to update multiple records with multiple form fields. You may be using the wrong interface. I need to understand what you are trying to do by seeing the page in context. Maybe a normal update server behavior is what you need.
