Select List

I have a Select list at lines 112-123 dependent on the query at lines 8-12.

Instead of showing 'Select Date" as the default value, it shows the last date in the query.

The query has no null values or concats.

The url is https://pabirds.org/porc/PORC_Admin_Batch_eBird_FormTest.php

What is wrong here?

Remove this code:
<?php if (!(strcmp($rsBatchDates->getColumnVal("Batch_Date"), ($rsBatchDates->getColumnVal("Batch_Date"))))) {echo "selected=\"selected\"";} ?>

The current code causes every <option> to have "selected" and that results in the last one in the list being selected.
