Question regarding on how what impact large tables have on page load time.

I am concerned about the load time on my pages and wondering if I have two tables with 1400 records one being current and one being archives if I will notice improved page load time.

Also most of my pages are joining 3 tables so I would assume that takes longer to load than just one OR maybe I am wrong and that data has very minimal affect and it has to do more with the images, videos....

Please advise

I'd have to debug it. I usually add time dumps to the page to see what code takes long to run. If the page itself doesn't take long, then it is the images and videos on the page causing the delay.
