No Testing Server

Hi Ray,
I am having some problems with a page where when I try to test a recordset I am getting an error message, No Testing Server, image attached.
When I first opened the page the three recordsets had disappeared. (I can't think why I have three there).
So I opened Managed Sites to edit. Everything looked normal and when I went page to the page the recordsets had reappeared.

However on my local machine if I run the index page and select an item from the Boat Types list e.g. Catamarans all appears normal.
I wondered if you can see what may be going astray.

btw if you get a chance would you have a look at my dynamic alt tags. Do you think this method will be OK by Google?

Many Thanks
John

Go to your dreamweaver server definition and make sure a testing server is defined and the the correct path and website url is set. Also make sure you have started your wamp server.

It looks like your issue is that your local testing server is set to https://localhost. Localhost won't usually work with https://, so you probably have to update it to http:// for your testing server.

Thanks Ray,
I have checked the testing server is defined correctly and the the correct path and website url is set.
I also changed https: to http: I had changed this to https: yesterday to see if that helped. It did not.

I am using xammp and it is running correctly.

I am attaching some pics.
Thanks for the help.
Regards
John

I'll have to debug this with you in a screen sharing session. If you can copy and paste that web URL into a browser and browse your site, then the testing server should be working.

Thank Ray,
The site is working OK, the php is quite early, could that be a problem?
I will come back to you re the screen sharing session.

It looks like you are still using https:// and don't have a certificate installed. I think I'll need screen sharing to work through this with you.

I'll have to do screen sharing to debug this with you. Please post a US phone number or Skype contact information with information about your availability next week and I'll set up a call.

Sounds good. I'll be here. I don't think it will take long once I can see your screen and debug it directly.
