MySQLi DataAssist Search panel failing to populate

I have used mySQLi DataAssist to create a search element on my php page.

If i return to edit it by double clicking it in the Server Behavior panel, all I get is what is shown on the screengrab.
If i remove and repeat, the same thing happens.

Am i missing a step here?

Can I get a copy of the page and FTP access so I can set up the site and try it for myself? You aren't missing anything. It should open and allow you to make edits.

Currently published to my nas and i havent opened any ports for external access.

I'll keep investigating and see if i can recreate in a new page.

You could call and do screen sharing with me and I could debug that way as well.
