MySQLi DataAssist Search panel failing to populate

I have used mySQLi DataAssist to create a search element on my php page.

If i return to edit it by double clicking it in the Server Behavior panel, all I get is what is shown on the screengrab.
If i remove and repeat, the same thing happens.

Am i missing a step here?

Can I get a copy of the page and FTP access so I can set up the site and try it for myself? You aren't missing anything. It should open and allow you to make edits.

You could call and do screen sharing with me and I could debug that way as well.
