HTML Editor (iRite v2) Coming Next Month

We are aiming to release a new version of HTML Editor (currently known as iRite) in October. The main new feature is a file manager, but it will also offer a quick insert (like all new versions of our extensions have had lately) and an enhanced, easier to use UI. The latest version of FCK Editor (2.6.2) will also be included.

We will update iRite v1 to include FCK Editor 2.6.2 also so that folks who do not want to upgrade to HTML Editor get some FCK bug fixes for free. This will likely be the last dot release for v1 though, unless some show-stopper bug gets reported - so people really should upgrade to HTML Editor if they want continued upgrades.

Customers in the subscription program will automatically have HTML Editor added to their downloads (in place of iRite).

I am unsure at this point of whether we will have a beta for the WCE group to play with... stay tuned. Whether at beta or at launch, we appreciate your continued product feedback!
