Validation for multiple update

Hi Ray

Happy New Year! Hope it's a great one for you and WebAssist.

I'm trying to validate a field on a multiple update form (the value of pt_sortorder must be greater than 1) - but when I try to apply the behaviour, the form field is not in the list.

Cheers

Chris

Server Validation isn't easy to add for multiple update forms.

It would be much easier to do it with jquery validation.

Just apply the Jquery validation, don't worry that the form field isn't available from the UI.

Then go to the form field in your html and add: <input type="number" min="1" required

Did this help? Tips are appreciated...

Thanks Ray

I just changed the type to "number" min=2 max=5 and it works a treat!

Many thanks
Chris
