Recordsets not displaying

Hi Ray,
I have problems with some files.
Recordsets are not being shown in bindings or server behaviours.
Also 2 files do not seem to function in localhost.

The two files Canal.php and Catamaran.php are working on the remote server so I down loaded these files to replace the two non working files.

Both show these errors
Warning: require_once(Connections/conn1_i): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in C:\xampp\htdocs\bfsnmysql57\canal-boats.php on line 1

Fatal error: require_once(): Failed opening required 'Connections/conn1_i' (include_path='C:\xampp\php\PEAR') in C:\xampp\htdocs\bfsnmysql57\canal-boats.php on line 1
I am attaching the files.

Has a method been found to get absent Recordsets showing again?

I am attaching the files in the hope they help.
Many thanks for any help
John

It looks like your connections file is named "conn1_i" instead of "conn1_i.php".

If you rename the file that may correct both issues. Usually if a server behavior isn't showing properly I can close and re-open the page and they will show properly.

Thanks Ray,
Yes you are correct I did have have conn1_i and not conn1_i.php in the first line.
I corrected this and closed Dreamweaver but the recordset does not show when I reopen the page.

I am now getting this error
Warning: mysql_select_db() expects parameter 2 to be resource, object given in C:\xampp\htdocs\bfsnmysql57\boat-details.php on line 37

Warning: mysql_query() expects parameter 2 to be resource, object given in C:\xampp\htdocs\bfsnmysql57\boat-details.php on line 39

Please see attached file.
Many thanks
John

It looks like you have a mySQLi connection but some of your code is still mySQL. This page would need a mySQL connection to work properly.

It looks like you have repeated recordset code too.
Try this:
1) Delete lines 42-49 (repeated code)
2) Open the rsBoats recordset from the server behaviors window and re-apply it (that should update it to mySQLi)

If it still doesn't work, attach the updated file in a reply to this post and I'll take another look.

Thanks Ray,
In boat-details.php the recordset filter is set to CatBoats = url Parameter.
I test this with category10 hire boats which is correct.

I click OK but the Server Behaviour window shows a red marker.

I open the Recordset and URL parameter is changed to Entered value.
I have tried several times but with the same result.

It looks like it doesn't recognize that you are updating from mySQL to mySQLi and it is keeping the mySQL version of the code on the page. If you give me FTP access I can try to fix it for you.

Thanks Ray,
The remote server is having some problems at the moment, there is a notification to the effect some sites are not working.
I expect this is because we have an unusually large weather storm here a couple of days ago and many services are facing problems.

Re the site on the remote server, all pages are working OK, except that they are taking over a minute to open.

I will be in touch later.
Regards
John

I couldn't comment on Filezilla connection issues. It could be your server, your connection, or your credentials. I'd guess that reinstalling Filezilla won't fix the issue, but you could try.
