Dreamweaver cs6 will not open

Hello.
I am using Dreamweavercs6.
Suddenly it will not open.

I went into administrator mode and completed a scan sfc /scannow and Dreamweaver opened.
I then went back into non administrator mode and again Dreamweaver failed to open.
Any ideas how I can get dreamweaver up and running again.

Thanks for any help

John

Have you tried clearing the filecache.dat file? You could try renaming the user's configuration folder, then restarting dreamweaver, then restoring the old configuration folder.

The user's configuration folder is the location of the cache file.

Ray I think you are a Genius.
I changed from Configuration to Configuration2.

Dreamweaver opened!
Many thanks

Unfortunately you will have to reinstall your extensions. You might try deleting the new configuration and renaming configuration2 back to configuration to recover all of your extensions. Remember to delete the cache file first.
