dreamweaver won't show folder

I have dreamweaver cs6 and also CC. I have a site that has a folder called imagedat and a subfolder under it called thumb. If I go to my hosting server and use file manager the thumb directory is there and populated. If I go to dreamweaver remote server of even testing server the thumb directory isn't there even though it is. I tried everything, changing permissions, rebuilding the cache and event deleting the MMHT directory on my computer and the hosting server. Restart dreamweaver which uploads the new directory yet still not there on my computer in either dreamweaver or dreamweaver CC. Anyone ever get this problem and how did you fix it. Thanks in advance, Phil

If you click on the menu icon in the upper left corner of the files panel in dreamweaver and then go to View->Show Hidden Files, that would probably fix this problem.

didn't do the trick, did show those dreamweaver hidden files but not that folder. I have noticed that if I create a different sub-folder ion imagedat it will show the new folder?? This was a big transfer site and I wonder if something went amiss because I used a ftp program instead of dreamweaver for the transfer of this area. It does have close to 5200 image files

I'm not sure. I haven't seen that issue before, but I know some folders are hidden. That doesn't appear to be the issue in this case. Maybe someone else can figure it out.

I'm getting closer. The imagedat folder does not show ANY file I upload to it, BUT it is uploaded when I check it on the hosting account. What I did notice is that there is NO Thumbs.db hidden file in that directory. Any thoughts??

It really sounds like a hidden file issue. Maybe it is a windows hidden file? You could try turning on hidden file display in your windows explorer.
