Sudden checkout failure

hi there

I'm suddenly getting checkout failure on a site that's been running for a few years. Connecting to PayPal

The website is : https://davidhayward.com/

I can add a product to the cart, complete the checkout page but then it just hangs for ages then goes to the checkout failure page...

Could someone take a look please?... maybe the PayPal API has changed?...

thanks so much

Add this to the top of the checkout failure page:

<?php
@session_start();
var_dump($_SESSION);
die();
?>

Then send me the result after using view source so it is better formatted. I should be able to spot the error there and let you know what needs to be done.

You aren't getting a result from Paypal at all... That usually means a curl configuration issue on the server. I'd need FTP access to debug this further, but my best guess is that it is an issue with curl somehow.

It looks like you had an old version of /WA_eCart/PP_ECO_Scripts/PP_ECO_PHP.php

It had an old endpoint for the paypal API that doesn't work anymore. I updated that file and it appears to have fixed that issue.
