This error means you don't have the ctype extension for php installed or enabled. This is usually installed by default, but you should be able to ask your provider to install the ctype PHP extension.

The ctype extension is enabled by default in PHP since version 4.3.0. If it's not enabled on your server, either you have a very old version of php, or it was probably disabled at build time.

Thanks for quick response.

Everything was working for the members section until i changed the php version to 7.4. When i set the php to 7.4 the forms would not submit. If i set the php back to anything lower the login page will not work. Don't know what is going on.Right now php is set to 7.4 I need both sections to work - the login and the forms
I don't know what to do so both will work? Have included ftp.
When i use attached code the forms submit ok -

The forms seem to submit. How should I reproduce the error? What is the current error? Did you get the ctype PHP extension installed?

HI Ray

I am using the code i sent you in the last update - mail-php.txt not Universal Email.
I have same form on other pages that is using Universal Email and throwing the 500 error
https://www.local92afm.com/members/ensemble.php is one there are 3 others.

I did not get the ctype PHP extension installed.
the code for Universal email is not working.

I turned on errors on that page. It is the same error. You need to get the ctype PHP extension installed.

I'm not sure why it works on the other page... I'm not sure what other page you are referring to. I only know why this page isn't working. It sounds like the php settings are different in the php 7.4 configuration and the necessary ctype PHP extension is not installed.
