_mmServerScripts are for the server model PHP-MySQL

Hi Ray, Everything was going well until today. After using web assist for many months I got the following error: "The files from the _mmServerScripts are for the server model PHP-MySQL. You try to connect to a database using a different server model. Please remove this folder outside
Dreamweaver environment on both local and testing machines and try again." I looked in webassist forums and found that the specified path and the test server path might differ (one uses www, one does not). Your recommendation was to make both paths the same. I have not found a difference in paths in servers in dreamweaver's site management system for my app. Let me know how to resolve this. Thanx, Ernie Papadoulias

Usually this is an issue with the Testing Server settings in dreamweaver, specifically the WebURL or root folder settings. Perhaps you added an SSL certificate and haven't updated the Web URL to include https:// or you have a redirect to the www. version of the site but the web url doesn't include the www.

SSL Certificate

Hi Ray, you are correct. An SSL certificate was added recently by the web host. What do I do to recover the connection to the mysql database?

Just update your Dreamweaver Site settings and update the Testing Server Web URL to have https://... you must still have http://

Hi Ray,
Forgot to say thank you. You nailed it. I needed to add the https. After that everything worked fine.
