Share Facebook 401 Unauthorized

I want a share to facebook button on a page. I have created a button from WebAssist-> SocialMedia-> Insert Share Buttons. When I test, I get an error message: 401 Unauthorized.

Facebook probably updated their share code and our extension is out of date. It is probably best to just get the proper share code from facebook and I'll make a note that the extension has to be updated (or removed) from the next update.

Okay, I see!

I do not know if you can help me, but I want to create a share button where the page content is posted on facebook.

We can say that this page shows a product that the user has chosen. The idea is that when the user has selected / bought a product, he can then share this to his Facebook feed. However, I only want a text summary to be displayed on Facebook - with a link to the website's index page and product page, when you click on it on Facebook.

Here is an example of text that could be on the user's facebook when he chooses to share the product Cocla-Coala that he has chosen on the site buyersMarket.com:

"Jonas Nilsson has chosen to buy the product Cocla-Coala from buyersMarket.com, 12th May, 2020".

There the buyersMarket.com and Cocla-Coala are a link.

How do you create something like this?

Since both the product and the user are stored in a database, you should be able to extract this information and share it in some way.

I'm not an expert at facebook share buttons or what is possible. You would have to read up on this in the facebook developers documentation:
https://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins/share-button/
