Checkout page URLs updating

Checkout page URLs updating

Hi,

In the eCart wizard, the last page specifies the checkout pages' addresses.

For remote checkout it's stated that a full http path may be required. In the wizard these URL fields are prepopulated with the site address, as is the site address.

My site is currently in development on a local webserver - not yet uploaded to a live server. The site address, success and failure URLs therefore read:
1) site address: mysite/
2) success redirect URL: checkout_success.php
3) failure redirect URL: checkout_failure.php

QUESTION: When uploaded to the live server, do these URLS update themselves automatically? If not, how can I update them - I can see no way to modify the settings through reentering a wizard. Nor are these URLs visible in my source code pages.

Please advise. Thank you.

Ann

You can change these values in the checkout.php file using code view.

Thanks for trying to help - but no, this was the first place I checked - there's no reference in the source code of any of the checkout or confirm pages....

I'm using PayPal Standard (Pro is not available in my country) - but am assuming the client should be redirected to a success or failure page because these have specification requests in the wizard.

Any ideas? WebAssist - can you please advise too?

Thanks a lot, Ann

Those URLs will need to be updated on the Confirm.php page.

fro payments standard, look for the following hidden form elements:
<input type="hidden" name="cancel_return" id="cancel_return" value="" />
<input type="hidden" name="return" id="return" value="" />

the success and failure URLS will be set as the values for these.

Thanks Jason - found them - and how about the site address? Does that automatically update itself or doesn't it matter. I want to prevent having to build new pages when I go live!
Anyway I'll try the success and failure pages now. Cheers.

I'm sorry, I dont quite follow what you mean.

You can set the site address in the Site Definition.

On the Local Info Tab of the Site Definition, set the HTTP Address to your Live Site.
