It go to the confirm.php page after entering credit card details and asks me to enter them again

I am having quite a few problems using the checkout wizard. This is my 4th attempt as each previous attempt one of the pages is blank or has errors.

This time eveything seemed to be ok. I tested the paypal payment and it went to opened up paypal correctly. Then I tested the credit card payment. After I click the checkout button on the cart.php page it takes me to the checkout.php page. At the top you can select the payment options and then underneath is the billing information. At the bottom of the billing form is a continue button. (right at the bottom is the shopping cart information). If I click the Continue button it 'un hides' the Payment Info section underneath the shopping cart. If I fill in the credit card information (using a test credit card from paypal) and click submit it takes me to the confirm.php page where there is the form to fill out the credit card details again (and nothing else).

have attached the checkout and confirm pages.

Can I get a URL to reproduce and FTP access? I don't see the issue on the page, but I'm sure I can spot it if I can run through it live and actively debug.

I found a bug in one of the files. I fixed it on your site and did an update to eCart. Please reinstall eCart so it won't be an issue when you run the wizard in the future. I fixed the live files already, so you don't have to run the wizard again on this site.

That's great thank you. Do you mean download and reinstall the ecart extension again?

Also I have tested it and when I put a test credit card in it just goes to the transaction failed page. I have added the debug code and I get this (in pm)

Can you see what the issue is?

This error means you haven't signed up for direct payments for that paypal account. Direct payments is an add on service that costs $40/month if you want to take credit cards directly on your site. You would have to go to the paypal account and accept the billing terms before that service is available.

Ah ok thank you. I just want it to be like my other website that records the users shipping information and then takes them to Paypal where they can either log in (if they have an account) or pay by credit card (within paypal) if they don't. How do I go about amending the code to do this?
Do I need to run the wizard again using Website Payments Standard UK? Do I have to have a UK paypal account to be able to do this as my client only has a Spanish one.

Also, before, when you said 'Please reinstall eCart so it won't be an issue when you run the wizard in the future'
Did you mean download and reinstall the ecart extension again?

Yes, download and install the ecart extension again.

Run the wizard with paypal standard checkout and not payments pro. That will give you only the free pay with paypal option (you can still pay with a credit card, but I think paypal will create an account automatically for you if you do that now)

OK, thank you. There isn't an option for Paypal standard in the wizard (that is what was confusing me) only Payments Pro, Payflow Pro and Payments Advanced - if checking out from my website. Express Checkout or Payflow link if I rely on my payment provider for secure checkout. So I guess the only thing I can do is the Express Checkout.

Yes, Express Checkout is what I meant. That is the correct option if you don't want to pay any monthly fees.
