Paypal checkout not inserting into database

Hi Ray,

This has been working but starting somewhere around March 8 when a customer uses PayPal checkout it does not redirect to the confirm page to insert the info into the database and it does not send out an email receipt.

Any ideas?

Thx
Eric

Is there an error message? Does the payment go through? Was the php version updated on the server? Please provide more background information and I can try debugging this further for you.

Hi Ray,

This only applies if they click on the PayPal checkout button. The payment is recorded in PayPal only. It does not record the purchase in the database or send a confirmation.

Everything works fine if they choose the eCart checkout method. The php version has not changed.

Thanks,
Eric

Do you get any sort of error message? Paypal checkout uses the pp_confirm.php page, not the confirm.php page. What is the page you are on when the error occurs? Maybe I'm looking at the wrong file.

I am going to have the client do screen shots of each step. Will submit shortly.

No error is showing.

There appeared to be a lot of problems with pp_confirm.php. Mostly repeated code and code in the wrong order. Some of the code seemed to be copied from the confirm.php page and had the wrong syntax.

Your email also didn't work, so I updated it to the latest version of our email extension, which I noticed you had used on the confirm.php page. It should all be working properly now. Make sure to download the updated pp_confirm.php page.
