504 Gateway Time-out: nginx

Hello,

My shopping cart will not load from any page on which I summon it.
Pages hang with the "waiting" wheel circling endlessly in the browser, and then eventually produce the above message of 504 Gateway Time-out: nginx.

Thank you,

I'll need FTP access to debug this. This isn't the type of thing I could debug without looking at the files directly.

Hello,

I had not expected you to be active on a Sunday, and so had not checked my mail.
Details in private area, thank you very much for your kindness.

I was not able to reproduce this issue. I got all of the way to paypal and it appears I was about to donate. Please try again and include the precise steps to reproduce and I can look into this further.

Hi

The timeont is still in operation at the page given in the private area.

I did eventually get the page I originally referenced to work at the fourth attempt.

But the one in the private area just hangs in the way I originally described.

Thank you.

It looks like you had manually updated your file: Connections/teacherstraining.php

To use an ip address that was wrong. I changed it back to using your domain as the database host and that seems to have fixed it.

Thank you.
I do not know how I allowed that to happen.
Sorry for the trouble.
